We (2 couples) really enjoyed our one-night stay at Volcano Inn. Reservations (direct phone call) easy - just mail a check. Accommodations were fine - two adjacent apartments in a quaint not-too-rustic building nestled in the attractive grounds. VERY convenient to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. We relaxed in the outdoor hot tub in the garden, after a nice dinner at the nearby Ohelo Cafe in Volcano. Enjoyed the included breakfast (half a fresh papaya filled with yogurt, bananas, and macadamia nuts; banana bread; and decent coffee). Nice people. Highly recommended. Completely disagree with some of the snarky reviews. This is not the Ritz Carlton - it's a wonderful little country B&B inn!

Great place to stay. As you approach their location you may be concerned if you made the right choice, especially after night fall as we did. Don't worry the accommodations are clean and pleasant. Helpful and courteous staff and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Nice and cozy rooms and very quiet hotel within the nature. The location is good for volcano visitors. I'm giving 4 stars for two reasons: 1. They don't accept credit cards (they accept bitcoin though), 2. The room we stayed was super small.
