Volcano
Volcano Hale is actually located on Keonelehua Ave (which is close to the main office and this maps marked location). The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Decent sized bed in the room with enough space for suitcases etc. We found the place quiet at night. Sufficient parking out front. Also a short drive to the Volcano Village shops and restaurants.
What you would expect for 100 bucks a night. Uncomfortable bed and shared bathroom. Nice shared kitchen and quiet. Was also clean. Not many other places around to stay. Overall a pleasant stay aside from the awful bed.
If you're looking for bargain-priced accomodation that's near Volcanoes National Park, this place is for you. If you are looking for luxury, daily turn-down service, and a bathroom all to yourself, this place is not for you. This hotel was clean and homey, in beautiful surroundings. I especially liked that we had access to a kitchen with cooking implements and appliances (refrigerator, four burner stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven) so I could buy groceries and cook our own breakfast.
