We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the nightly visits to the caldera, breakfast with Sandy's cake and our daily agenda from Garrett. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful change to resort hotels.

Nice place to stay, it is very close to the Volcanoes National Park (~2miles driving distance). The owners are nice and friendly, and they know the park very well.
Excellent access to Volcano National Park as well as other attractions on that side of the island.
It's been a most pleasant stay here at the Volcano Country Cottages. Garrett and Sandy have been gracious hosts. I highly recommend a stay and visit this place.
Bonnie is a very cool person and is welcoming and helpful regarding the local area. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with food and beverages. I would recommend her place to anyone.
Garret and Sandy are wonderful hosts at Volcano Country Cottages. Breakfasts are dependable and fresh. If you are staying more than a couple of days you might want to widen your variety of breakfasts, however.
