Beautiful trails, or just drive through! During the daylight hours go see the Lava Tube and hike.all around the steam vents.

Between the Crater, Lava Tubes and actually seeing the Lava, this is a must see if you are on Big Island! Hands down, I would do it again!
Kilauea is a must see at " nighttime " event of your life!) Kilauea is constantly changing so no matter how many times you go, the view will be a different and amazing one!
It's pretty much the volcano national park. Fun to drive through and check out all the sites or hike any of the could trails.
The Rangers here are very knowledgeable about the lava flow, which is what everyone really wants to know. The older lady that helped me had clearly been through telling people where to go for the lava flow a million times before. She even asked if I was preferable to miles or kilometers. Her clear cut instructions led us right to the lava flow.
