This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly. The food was extraordinary. This is absolutely must go if you are in the area and wanna eat something delicious.
So obviously not a lot of choices in the area for very understandable reasons. The same can be discussed with pricing. Regardless, this is by far our favorite restaurant after multiple trips to the volcano. Sage was awesome as our server, atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and presentation first class.
Great cafe located near the Volcanoes - a short drive to split up the Volcano trip. Busy place which was nice to see, and friendly staff. Great food too - we baby back ribs, char siu ribs, seafood pasta and a pizza.. all delicious! Definitely stop by here if you're around the Volcano area :)
'Ohelo Cafe is a delight for the senses- both in ambiance & dining options. Love the Lamb, Ribs, Quail- pretty much haven't eaten a bad thing there. They also serve alcohol- including fresh takes on signature cocktails. Seating IS limited, so I would strongly encourage reservations as locals & travelers both frequent this place. You won't regret including a stop here while in the Volcano area.
My husband and I found this place by accident, it just happened to be the closest place along our route for the day. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. We both ordered the burger, and it was absolutely delicious. Easily one of the best I've ever had. It was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The fries were good too, nice and tender with a crispy exterior. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're on the area.
